Généralement, cet attribut est utilisé en combinaison avec healthcare=*, amenity=doctors, amenity=clinic ou amenity=hospital pour préciser le type de soins proposés dans un lieu.

Plusieurs spécialités peuvent être indiquées à l’aide du point virgule (';') par exemple : healthcare:speciality=general;geriatrics;gynaecology;paediatrics
