Organised Editing/Activities/Radinfrastruktur Stadt Überlingen
Overview
This page documents the organized editing activity undertaken by FixMyCity GmbH to update parts of the bicycle and road infrastructure of Stadt Überlingen in OSM on behalf of the city.
- Start date: December 2025
- Planned end date: March 2026
Goals
The project aims to collect, review and add specific attributes on about 80 km of ways. This includes footways, cycleways as well as roads where no explicit cycleways are present (mixed traffic, "Mischverkehr"). Attributes which are mapped, include: type, width, traffic sign and surface:colour of paths and surface of all streets. For this we also collect our own street imagery with 360° Cameras (see Kameraverleih) and upload them to Mapillary.
The city administration of Überlingen will use that data for planning measures and improving the infrastructure for cyclists.
Contact
First, please contact the mapper or use the changeset discussion. If no conciliation is successful, please contact one of the coordinators at FixMyCity.
