Organised Editing Teams

Companies and non-profit organizations regularly contribute to OSM using volunteers or paid mappers. Unlike individual mappers, these organizations are expected to follow the Organized Editing Guidelines and any consensus reached by the local community.

Grab's Thailand map errors report

After data from Grab team quality issues were identified^[2] in Thailand, an entry has been created to track and document errors by Grab's mapping team. There's a clean-up project in place that can be tracked in Github Issue 49.

Kaart

Kaart had conducted ground survey campaigns in 2019 around Chiang Mai and Bangkok.

Facebook

Facebook had conducted AI road imports between 2010 and 2017 all around Thailand.

Humanitarian OSM Team

Humanitarian OSM Team (HOT) had a few campaigns in Thailand between 2019 and 2021 ([1])
